About Trading Edge

Trading Edge is the engineering plastics extrusion unit owned by Protomax Plastics Ltd. Engineering and More gmbH build all the Trading Edge extrusion lines at their factory in Austria. We set out to supply turnkey extrusion lines to the engineering plastics industry, and ended up with the highest output machines with the highest level of automation. These machines are designed to run 24 hours per day with minimum operator input. The operator should only be required when changing polymer or size, or to remove the cut profiles each shift.

We specialise in extruding Rod and Plate in PA6, PA66, POM and PETP Rod extrusion from Ø5mm to Ø300mm, and plate in thicknesses from 8mm to 120mm, 600mm wide to 1250mm wide.

The machines are connected to our engineers through an online network, so that support is immediately available for our customers There are now over 100 machines built to our design. We run training courses for our customers in extrusion.
